Annie Donnellon is a classically trained performer with a degree in vocal performance from Northern Kentucky University. A proud member of the APA Accessibility Committee, she has been blind since birth and through her experience as an actor and improviser on stage she has honed her facility for character and connective to narrative. A natural performer from an early age, Annie grew up singing and lectoring in the church, inspiring her passion for faith and inspirational fiction and non-fiction. Onstage, she has played roles timed, tragic and tenacious from Juliet in Romeo and Juliet to Amanda Wingfield in the Glass Menagerie. She is drawn to stories of independence and resilience om the realms of women’s fiction, self-help, cozy mystery, and stories for young readers. She is addicted to golden-age radio comedy, and compiling a calendar of different national food days (particularly Sept 29, national coffee day!) When not narrating, Annie stays active, practicing yoga, spending time with her husband, rocking it out at karaoke, visiting local wineries and baking her top-secret muffin recipe.
